Hazel Tew: Life President / DDSC Chairwoman / Coach / PSA Secretary.

Hazel has been a member of the club since she was 7 years old and is our longest continuous serving member. She has taught swimming for over 25 years and in particular, enjoys teaching younger children. She holds an ASA preliminary coaches certificate, ASA teachers and advanced teachers certificates and is also qualified as a teacher of life saving. She is an associate member of The Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches and an ASA qualified County Starter , Judge and Timekeeper. Hazel is responsible for the development of our younger swimmers.

Dean Williams: W.D. Coach.

Dean joined GBM in 1990 and soon became Chief Coach there. In 1995 he joined White Oak as Chief coach and in September 1997 he took responsibility for the coaching of the joint County squad. Senior Top Squad swim alongside County coached by Dean for two hours on Sunday mornings. Dean was coach for the London Borough of Greenwich youth games team and still teaches swimming for the London Borough of Greenwich youth services. He started swimming at the age of seven, representing Kent and competing up to National level. He was an original squad member of the Crystal Palace center of excellence. He holds an ASA Club Coach Certificate, ASA Advanced Teachers Certificate, ASA Teachers Certificate and is a Fellow of The Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches.

Lynda Pinkess: W.D. Coach.

Lynda is responsible for the development and coaching of the Junior Top Squad building on stroke technique and stamina, preparing swimmers for all levels of competition, e.g. County, District and National. Swimmers progress from Junior Top into either County or Senior Top Squad once they have attained the requisite age and/or ability. Lynda holds ASA Teachers Certificate.

Steve Harris: Coach.

Steve is responsible for the development and coaching of the Killer Whales squad. He started swimming as a boy with Lewisham Men's and Triton swimming clubs but took up coaching when he joined us. He holds an ASA preliminary coaches certificate, ASA teachers certificate (Level 2) and is qualified as an Assistant Coach. He is an active member of our Masters section and competes in county events.

Helen Gray: Coach

Helen is responsible for the development and coaching of Junior Club Squad. She started swimming in 1996 with the Club's Club Squad and qualified as a teacher after joining us. She holds an ASA Assistant Teachers Certificate (Level 1) and ASA Teacher's Certificate (Level 2). She is an active member of the Masters Section and competes in County, National and International Events.
