MILLENNIUM LEAGUE 27th APRIL
Andrea struggled to form a depleted team and the intrepid swimmers tapped ‘Downham' into their tom-toms to find Eltham Stingrays hosted Millennium League leg. The brand new pool was as difficult to get into as it was to find.
Dartford 's Junior squad had been depleted due to gala commitments at Sevenoaks and the bottom of the barrel was meticulously scraped as Kevin was wheeled out in his new ‘go-faster' yingfas!! Sports reporters from Fleet Streets finest flocked to witness this mighty feat. (not really-Ed)
Credit should be given to the team who pulled together and swam their finest against overwhelming odds. The end result of third place behind Maidstone and Whiteoaks was fair considering the uphill battle. (We have another gala depleted leg to go!) Well done swimmers……
Once again thanks go out to all the officials and mums and dads that gave up their Saturday evening for the club
