CONGRATULATIONS to ELLIE THOMAS
Ellie Thomas age 11. (Top Squad) broke the Girls 50m Butterfly record in the under 12 age group at the 50m Club Championships on Friday 22 nd February.
Then just to prove it was not a one off, Ellie broke her own record again in the Kent County Championships at the weekend at Black Lion.
“I knew Ellie was swimming well after the Club Champs, but thought nerves may play their part at the County Champs ” said her coach Lynda Pinkess.
“Ellie was seeded 28 th on an entry time submitted in January, but finished a fantastic 4 th overall, it was quite a feat. I was so impressed with how calm she remained and how beautiful her stroke was”
