The Treasurer's role is to advise the Officers and Committee on the financial affairs of
the Club.

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Club, maintaining control of documentation both general and sensitive, and to act as an intermediary between the Committee, the rest of the Club and outside.

Child Protection & Welfare Officer

The role of the Welfare Officer is to provide a point of contact for swimmers, parents, teachers/coaches and other relevant parties in respect of child protection and other welfare issues and to ensure that all teachers/coaches and other helpers in contact with age group swimmers have had enhanced CRB checks and have attended appropriate workshops.

The Development Officer identifies development and implements the Club’s development planning

Membership Secretary

The Membership Secretary is responsible for the collection of quarterly subscriptions, including chasing up unpaid money and to advise teachers/coaches and others of swimmers’ eligibility to swim.

 

Open Secretary

The Open Secretary is responsible for identifying suitable open competitions, advertising them to Club members and supervising applications where necessary.

Fixtures Secretary

The Social Secretary organises activities where members and their friends can interact socially outside the swimming training forum and will identify and initiate activities which may be used to raise additional funds for the Club.

The Club Championship Secretary organises the annual Club Championships and Ensures they run according to the Clubs Championship Condition, ASA Laws and Technical Rules.
